First day

Well what an introduction to Phnom Penh. last night I was taken to the schoolroom to watch a movie and karaoke with all the students. I step into the room and was instantly pushed up the front and into a rendition of a really really corny love song. it was so much fun though.
On the way home I was on the back of the moto with drew and we had a head on collision at about 60km with another moto with 3 people on it. the 3 people on the other moto were taken to hospital with injuries, one guy was out under the bike for 5 min. It was pretty full on, people came from nowhere and surrounded us. drew and I somehow don't have a scratch on us even though we both slid under the bike. welcome to Phnom Penh ming.
I've met up with Drew Mcdowell who is volunterring at the orphanage and has set up a school in the slum which teaches english. There are 7 classes daily for all levels of english. I visited the orphanage today and helped wash the kids hair with de-lice shampoo. It was a very fun experience. Have met lots of new people all over here volunteering. There are so many NGO's over here and the city is full of volunteers.The kids are fantastic, so full of life, some a little malnurished but huge smiles radiate from their faces constantly.
