English School
I have now taken resposibility of providing the tuition fees for english lessons for the kids at CLCA. There are 26 of them attending and pricing ranges from $3US to $5US a month. We have to keep track of attendance records but it is good way for me to give to the orphanage and I know where the money is going. Besides from that, I'm moving into an apartment tomorrow that an Aussie girl is renting. It's the plushest apartment in a really good area of Phnom Penh. I'll be sure to be sending you photos. Stay classy Sydney.
Ming is a freelance photographer living and working in Sydney. She studied Fine Arts at COFA from 2000-03. With Chinese/German heritage, growing up in a family of 4 kids and divorced parents, her life history plays heavy influence on her work.
She expresses her interests in the human condition with focus on the human spirit, it’s strengths and weaknesses. She would describe her art as a reaction to this human condition where she is trying to understand or expose a feeling to her viewers. She is often seen using the documentation of others as a means of expressing herself.
Being an avid traveller has allowed her to document the experiences had and the people met from around the world. She feels that the documentation of another human spirit aims at being able to stop for a moment to study or understand it, because in any other situation, that chance might otherwise of passed us by.
Her work reflects her as an individual as well as representing the ideas, opinions and emotions of the world around her. Capturing life at its basic and raw form is what drives her to create her work.
